It is thanks to one woman that Augustin is able to welcome the world to Munich: Edith Haberland-Wagner.
In 1996, the main heir to the Augustiner brewery in Munich transferred her shares to the present-day Edith Haberland-Wagner Foundation, which established and now runs the Augustin Youth and Family Hotel.
Edith Haberland-Wagner’s belief in the creative power of people is something we live out at Augustin each and every day. She is our aspiration and driving force all at once.
In the spirit of the founder, Augustin combines contemporary tradition with cosmopolitan hospitality and creates a unique environment that brings people together and allows them to feel at home.
